David was called to Faith ‘Viera’ in 2007 to serve as their Director of Christian Education (DCE). He works with all ages through; Bible Studies, Sunday School, gatherings, retreats, outings, youth groups, Confirmation and more.

David is married to his beautiful wife, Sonya, and has a dog named Hercules. Both David and Sonya are originally from Minnesota; where they met in high school. They both attended Concordia University-Nebraska; Sonya received a degree in Education and currently is a Drama teacher in Titusville. David received a degree in Psychology and a certificate in DCE ministries. They were married in 2005 and moved to Hilton Head Island, SC; where David was a DCE at Island Lutheran Church.

David loves his job, but in his free time he enjoys spending time with his wife and dog, golfing, and going to the beach to relax and sometimes to fish.
